In recognition of the requirements of its fleet-tracking customers, Tracker is to deliver yet another enhancement to its fleet telematics solution, Tracker Fleet, which has just recently been reengineered.
This year’s Commercial Vehicle Show will see Tracker demonstrate a new Driving Style module that has been designed with the aim of meeting the driving and fleet monitoring requirements of businesses in the 21st century.
The Driving Style module of Tracker Fleet will allow managers to be able to review their fleet’s overall driving style, as well as to evaluate the driving behaviour of individuals as well. The new module is able to map historical trends, which allows fleet managers to be able to offer driving training or recognise and reward improvement, as appropriate. This will in turn assist them with improving the efficiency and safety of their drivers, including those who are behind the wheel of vehicles that may have been rented out via a car-leasing scheme.
“Following feedback from our fleet customers, we have added Driving Style to Tracker Fleet and we will be showcasing our latest developments at the Commercial Vehicle Show,” says the managing director of Tracker, Stephen Doran. “The simplicity and flexibility of Driving Style means we are bringing fleet managers the information they need, when they need it, in the format they can easily comprehend.” Doran goes on to add that the new system makes it simpler for fleet managers to be able to meet their Duty of Care requirements, and helps them to manage costs by making them understand the influences on fleet efficiency.
